The Next Generation of Jazz

Peabody Institute Jazz Ensemble, led by pianist Kian Linam, brings together a collective of students and alumni from the acclaimed Jazz Studies program at the Peabody Institute. Rooted in the rich traditions of New Orleans jazz, swing, and gospel, the ensemble represents a new generation of musicians deeply informed by the lineage of the music while continuing to push its boundaries forward. Their performances highlight improvisation, ensemble interplay, and creative interpretation of jazz standards and original works, offering audiences a dynamic and engaging live experience.
