Hello and welcome to Jazz Workshop Combo!  This jazz workshop will include but is not limited to the following:

• Small group playing (Jazz Combo experience)

• Basic music theory instruction

• Group lesson instruction on their instrument

• Instruction from professionals in the field

• Professional Jazz musicians as instructors (TBA)

• Area gigs (concerts)

Combos will be created and grouped by skill level, experience, age, and instrumentation.  This is for any currently enrolled middle or high school students as well as adults.  Vocalists as well as instrumentalists are welcome (traditional band instrumentation).  Drums, keyboards, and guitar/bass amps will be provided.  

Cost for all group sessions is $150 per student per month. 

Students may register at ANY TIME. The Workshop Season is from September through the end of May. The Workshops will not have any official rehearsals for June, July or August.

Student Combo Rehearsals for the 2026-27 season will be Tuesdays at 7 pm.

Adult combo rehearsals for the 2025-2026 season will be Thursdays at 6 pm.

Our new Adult Jazz Discovery Classes are for any adult student who might be new to their instrument and new to jazz! Rehearsals will be Thursdays at 5:45 pm and follow the same season schedule mentioned above.

Restoration Frederick Church located at 7899 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. For rehearsals please drive around the BACK of Restoration Frederick. Come to the white door FURTHEST AWAY from the playground. You should see a sign on the door that reads SHED.
